Our History
Established in 1989, Southtech Plastics, Inc. began with the mission to be the world leader in custom extruded decorated sheet and roll plastic materials through continuous process and product improvement of customer-driven products and innovations. It was our intention to create highly skilled, highly paid jobs for highly skilled, highly motivated employees which would, in turn, provide individual fulfillment and long-term financial security for our employees. We still employ that mission today. Our goals are very simple - first and foremost is to honor God in all that we do; to help develop people, to pursue excellence and to grow profitability.

Initially operating in the back room of a barber shop with just a handful of employees, we have expanded over the years in size, employee base, product diversity and economic impact to the local community. Once offering materials to the interior/exterior signage industry and a handful of recreational marine suppliers, we have become the premier plastics supplier to not only these industries, with such customers as Sea Ray, Bayliner, Triton Boats, Sea Doo and Tracker Marine, but to automotive aftermarket, automotive OEM, point of purchase and extruded sheet markets, as well. Supplying such major manufacturers as Alfa Leisure, Fleetwood, Coachman, Duracell, Maybelline, Target, Daimler-Chrysler and General Motors keeps us on the leading edge of technology and innovation in our markets. In keeping with our mission to continuous product and process improvement, we sought after, and were awarded, our ISO 9001:2000 registration in the fall of 2006 - an accomplishment which will help us broaden our base, both at home and internationally.
